A Batch of Cool Guitars…

Author The Godzilla Guitar is just plain fun. Who doesn’t love a Super-sized Lizard bringing havoc to all it sees? The Blue and white bass was painted for Rick Savage of Def Leppard. He is on a special charity tour and at some point this bass will be given away to one lucky person. The last guitar is a complete restoration of a prototype Jackson model – #1. I just love the Hot Rod flames and stripes on this one!

Dave Got His Steampunk…
… and HE LOVES IT!! Finally, after being forced to wait longer than expected for a custom case – Dave McCarthy’s Steampunk 7-String Flak Jacket is safely in his hands.
Not necessarily an action shot, but the first in its new home. I’m loving it. The neck feels great and very comfortable. And through my rig, that neck pickup really sings. You hit a homerun on this one. All the work you put into it is really appreciated.

Custom 7-String Builds on the Bench
Mike is currently building 2 new custom-spec’d 7-String Flak Jackets. One righty, and one lefty. The lefty is for a return customer, Dave. The project is coming along quickly and he hasnt forgotten about the Left-hand mods even once yet!!

P40 Warhawk Flying Tiger Neck-Through Completed!!
Well, the first in the series is complete and had its test run on stage last night! Mike says that it feels a lot like his old Les Paul and shreds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW MODEL: The Neck-Through Rock Caster
Here are some preliminary and “in process” images for Mike’s newest Learn Guitar model, the Neck-Through Rock Caster. This is the first in a series of war plane tributes Mike will be building. He is going to do one a month for a full series of 12 built on this model, each representing a differnt war plane. The first one, as you can see here, will honor the Flying Tiger P40.
