John Levin of Dokken Getting A LEARNed Charvel

Last month when Trixter and Dokken were in town, Mike had the opportunity to meet John Levin.  They discussed doing a project together and just yesterday John contacted Mike for a complete cusotm overhaul of one of his Charvel’s. Mike will be doing a lot of upgrades to the instrument and then, of course, giving it a  pure custom paint job.  Stay tuned for details!!

Learn Guitars, Trixter and Dokken

Trixter and Dokken are in town to do a local show tonight. Since Steve Brown from Trixter is one of Mike’s main endorsers of his guitars, he spent the afternoon at the shop trying out the newest guitars and planning for his next Learn Guitar custom.

After that, they took off to hook up with the rest of the band and Don Dokken and Mick Brown.

Tonight Trixter, Dokken and Citizen Pain are all playing out. Should be a pretty fun night. Trixter and Dokken are playing at a bar just down from the street where Citizen Pain is. I am pretty sure there will be some guest appearances on stage tonight. Hopefully I will have a colorful report to post tomorrow.
