Python Skin BC Rich Eagle for Drowning Pool’s CJ Pierce
Mike just finished up this killer guitar…. It is laminated with python skin with a distressed and oiled natural wood back. Hopefully the pictures convey how amazing this thing looks!! The process is not as easy as it looks and we even employed a taxidermist to make sure the snakeskin was properly mounted, preserved and finished to allow for maximum wear and beauty.
Hopefully we will see this soon on stage with CJ and Drowning Pool:
Rock Stars On Parade!!
Well, I decided to do a web search last night to see if I could find pictures of some of this year’s Rock Stars LIVE with their new guitars. WOW! There were a lot! Here is some more eye candy to add to the last few posts:
John Levin of Dokken
Eddie Ojeda of Twisted Sister
Pete Wells of Benedictum
JY of Styx – (couldn’t find a picture of the work we did for Tommy Shaw)
Michael Wilton of Queensryche
Sneak Peek: NAMM 2012 Jackson Custom Finishes
Here are a few images of Mike’s NAMM 2012 Jacksons. None of these have final clear, nor are they fully built out (obviously).. but you get an idea of how cool they WILL be. Each guitar has a VERY elaborate fingerboard that you cannot see…. but will bring the whole package together… Can’t wait to see these hanging on the wall in Anaheim in just a few weeks!
