Mike has been building, playing, painting and repairing instruments for over 30 years and consistently works with the Jackson/Charvel Custom Shop, BC Rich/ Hanser Music, Boogie Bodies and Grover Jackson as a designer and custom painter.

The ICON shape with a deep cutaway to allow screaming solos access to all 24 frets, is carved from the finest Korina wood. The very thin D profile bolt-on neck is maple with a beautifully figured birdseye maple fingerboard. It is fitted with Seymore Duncan pickups and has a string through set-up. NAMM Special – Airbrushed Fretboard Intense Inlay
Another new technique Mike developed just for Jackson to debut at the Winter 2011 NAMM Show. A new, unique and eye-catching fret board technique! The airbrush was laid down in the routed channel of this super high-end fretboard, finished and then the whole instrument was painted to match with seamless design. This piece got a lot of looks at the Jackson Custom Shop Booth!!

Judgement Day: NAMM 3D Carved Custom
This guitar was also featured in the Jackson Custom Shop booth at the Winter NAMM just last week. Mike was given full artistic license to do whatever he wanted on this piece. It is a real monster!!

Custom 7-String Builds on the Bench
Mike is currently building 2 new custom-spec’d 7-String Flak Jackets. One righty, and one lefty. The lefty is for a return customer, Dave. The project is coming along quickly and he hasnt forgotten about the Left-hand mods even once yet!!
